Custom Design Silk Goose

These birds were commissioned for a Korean wedding taking place in New York.

In Korea, it is traditional practice to give geese to the bride and groom, as the goose is symbolic of fidelity.

The birds were machine and hand sewn from silk and eco-felt. Striped fabric is often part of the traditional Korean wedding.

The geese decorated the tables at the wedding dinner and were given to guests by the bride and groom.

These birds were commissioned for a wedding taking place in a nature park in Australia. The rosellas and cockatiels in the park are tame enough to be fed by hand. To celebrate their special day, the bride and groom gave the birds to their guests as thanks you gifts.

Custom designed for the reception area of Bijan Law Corporation in downtown Vancouver, these over-sized goldfish are lasercut from birch plywood. Mounting them out from the wall gives the impression that the two-dimensional fish are actually three-dimensional creatures emerging into the space.
